Very clean and spacious, attractive room, huge comfortable bed with good quality bed linen, big TV, spacious bathroom, large shower cubicle and great towels, first meal in the restaurant was delicious (beef bourguignon), good local ale at a reasonable price, breakfast was mixed but full English was very good. Dark haired lady on duty on our first night was lovely, friendly and very professional (apologies for not having a name). Contact via the app was good and the code access worked well. We enjoyed our stay.

El Langstrath Country Inn, construido alrededor de 1590 como cabaña de mineros conocida como "Dove Cottage", es un pequeño establecimiento de gestión familiar que ofrece alojamiento en Stonethwaite. Absolutely everything. Great welcome, lovely room, stunning views, amazing dinner and breakfast, great service and delicious packed lunch. Chef deserves 2 hats! Cosy and atmospheric too.

El ambiente del local, no nos esperábamos una posada tan típica inglesa y además la cortesía en el trato esxelente, siempre con una sonrisa. Tuvimos un problema con nuestra tarjeta de crédito y nos ayudaron a resolverlo con una exquisita cortesía. Ojalá si van a España los traten tan bien como ellos a nosotros.

The Hare and Hounds, Levens está en Levens, a 18 km de Parque temático World of Beatrix Potter, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. The guidebook in the room was very helpful and provided information about things to do in the Lake District area, by foot or car. I took a 45 minute walk around the nearby farm and enjoyed quiet, scenic views. The unit we stayed in consisted of a large living room, full kitchen, bedroom, and bath with shower and tub. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, both meals were scrumptious. There was a great vibe at dinner and it was clear that this is not just a spot for guests, but also popular with the locals. Parking was available just across the street. We would definitely stay here again.
