Surrounded by scenic countryside, The Horseshoe Inn is just 10 minutes’ drive from Peebles centre. Historical Edinburgh can be reached in 30 minutes’ drive, and Dawyck Gardens are a 20-minute drive away. Really comfortable cosy bed. Food excellent, staff all amazing & very friendly & helpful.

The property is around 15 km from The Maltings Theatre & Cinema, 39 km from Lindisfarne Castle and 48 km from Bamburgh Castle. The inn features family rooms. For pub accommodation it was just right. A bit old and rustic but clean and comfortable. The location was excellent, right on the foreshore and in easy walking distance to everything. The pub didn’t offer dining but we were able to get a great meal at another pub just a 5minute stroll along the marina. We are bike packers and the pub owner was very generous in letting us keep our bikes stored securely in the unused function room.

Located in the heart of the Scottish Borders, it offers stylish accommodation, an award-winning bar and restaurant and a charming garden. Breakfast menu was fantastic. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room and en-suite was lovely. Garden was beautiful.
