This family-run inn is situated in forest countryside, directly next to the Nürburgring racing circuit. Landhaus Balkhausen offers free WiFi and free parking. We stayed in room 8 (a twin) at the top of the hotel. The floor has two other rooms which share a landing toilet, but room 8 has a cosy en-suite. The room was serviced everyday, and although not big, was very comfortable. Our hosts were wonderful, as were the breakfasts. Walking distance to where the main restaurants are, and a short drive to the 'Ring, I'd highly recommend a stay here.

Offering a sun terraces and views of the garden, Eifelblümchen is situated in Heimbach in the North Rhine-Westphalia Region, 49 km from Cologne. The room was very tidy, and the breakfast was well prepared. The landscape was also very nice, and the hostess is also very friendly, warm-hearted and helpful.
