Also loved the little touches - like the nespresso machine in the room had nespresso brand pods. I chose the breakfast drop off and it was so lovely waking up and having a nice light euro breakfast on my door! also train station to get to Bern is 500m away so very nice place to stay if you do not have car or bike. loved the HUGE closet and shower! also the hair dryer was very nice. all the small details were so wonderful. even had a tan for the warm July weather!

Bed & Breakfast Region Murtensee is set in Münchenwiler, 5 km from Murten, 25 km from Bern and 13 km from Fribourg. This place is by far the largest room we have in our 2-week long trip in Europe. It is a nice large studio with an extra bedroom. Some views to the village street, goats and hills at the distance. Nice and quiet. No AC, but it was fine for us in early September. I'm not sure how it is in the heat of summer. Breakfast brought to our room in the morning, very nice host who likes to please her guests. Pay with cash.

Set at 2,225 metres above sea level, Berghaus Männlichen offers a sun terrace with great views of the Swiss Alps, a self-service restaurant, and a children’s playground. The place and the views are phenomenal. As the cable cars stop at 5 PM, there is only you and a few other hotel guests left. Now the mountains are yours to enjoy in its serene setting. This is especially precious for a region as popular and otherwise packed with tourists as Lauterbrunnen / Jungfraujoch. For a mountiain lodge, the accomodation is still very comfortable, clean and well equipped. This was my favorite place to stay in Switzerland.

Staff was super friendly Room was spacious Excellent breakfast - lots of variety Restaurant is great for price - the owner hunts some of the game on the menu Laundry on site - 5CHF for a load, another 5CHF for dryer (European dry, not North American kind of dry)

Very well located to explore the area!

The Hotel Steinbock is located at the edge of Lauterbrunnen opposite the train and cable car station for Grütschalp, Mürren and the Schilthorn. Great view from our room. Very close proximity to the station and gondola. Staff was helpful and the breakfast was convenient. The same goes for the restaurant. We were able to fraternize with fellow travelers as well.

The Alpenblick hotel is situated about 600 metres from the centre of Grindelwald, right at the ski slope and a bus stop, and offers nice rooms and tasty food. Perfect stay and wonderful family and staff

Directly on the shore of Lake Brienz, Boutique Hotel Bellevue Iseltwald offers a sun terrace. Everything is perfect with huge support from staff.

The wide variety of foods provided at breakfast caters for everyone's needs & preferences - a great way to start off your day of exploring.

Berghaus Iffigenalp really made you feel like you were staying in a mountain lodge. Driving to the property have your camera ready because the scenery is amazing. The breakfast cost a little extra but was well worth the price.
