Set in Bad Goisern, Welterbe-Wirtshaus Steegwirt features a garden and a private beach area. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The family Grampelhuber were wonderful hosts. Mom, Dad, two sons, two daughter (in law), and two grandchildren, along with a fine and attentive staff. The food, both breakfast and dinner, was outstanding. Music filled the house. We will long look on our Austrian visit to Bad Goisern and Steegwirt fondly.

Set in Neustift im Mühlkreis, 34 km from Cathedral Passau, Gasthaus Wundsam offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Even though they weren’t operating at full steam - I could not have been more welcome. I loved just hanging in this beautiful part of the world.

Located in the village of Inzell in the Danube Valley, just 50 metres from the river and right on the Danube Bicycle Trail, Gasthof Zum heiligen Nikolaus offers a quiet location at the end of the... It’s a nice cozy and quiet place to stop after about 40km from Passau. It’s along the Danube. The food was good and the room was perfect. Nice terrace to sit for the late afternoon. Nice field for camping too by the river. It’s worth the few kilometers loop around the river.

Directly located on Lake Hallstatt, Bräugasthof Hallstatt features a traditional Austrian restaurant with a lakeside terrace. Super friendly people and amazing service. Fantastic breakfast, spectacular view, supe cozy rooms! Wonderful hotel, highly recommend
