The hotel is within a row of converted townhouses. We loved the historic feel, the large inner courtyard, the staff were friendly and efficient and who doesn’t like a hotel with its own cat! It is located within walking distance to downtown and restaurants. We plan to stay here again in the future.

Plenty of storage space for our personal stuff, too. The location is an easy drive from the major tourist attractions downtown.

Having 2 parking spaces at our place was fantastic in this area. Took our grandson who goes to VCU to dinner, just 2 blocks away and it was great— walking around the campus since we met there and got our undergraduate degrees there. Also had a bottle of wine waiting there for us.

In my opinion it’s the best hotel for the money. The grounds are immaculate, the staff is A+ and the rooms are perfect. The breakfast buffet is delicious as well as the dinners in The Tavern. Both are just a walk across the beautifully landscaped courtyard. I can’t say enough about Virginia Crossing. I’m looking forward to staying again soon.

The staff was wonderful and welcoming and the breakfast buffet was amazing, as was the dinner I had at the Tavern. Overall I enjoyed my stay and wished I had given myself more time.
