Periwinkle has been completely renovated to a high standard and was designed by Nantucket Looms. The inn is set to reopen Memorial Day Weekend, 2023!

This Nantucket inn is within walking distance to central Nantucket. The Whaling Museum and White Heron Theatre Company are both less than 150 metres from the Periwinkle.

I am so in love with this hotel! It is just like in pictures! Very elegant, clean, quiet and I love the concept Of auto service. I was concern about the shared bathroom but no problem. Very clean, small but very nice and clean

This historic Nantucket hotel is located just 15 minutes’ walk from Brant Point Beach and Lighthouse. The Nantucket Whaling Museum is a 2-minute walk away.

Decorated in antique furnishings and soft classic colours, the rooms at the Jared Coffin House all include a flat-screen cable TV, private bathroom and free Wi-Fi. The rooms are air conditioned and have views of Nantucket town.

Great location right in town, just a five minute walk from the ferry. Beautiful old building with the most comfortable of beds. Delicious muffins for breakfast. Taproom restaurant is in the hotel; food was great and more reasonably priced then some other places close by. Complementary bikes! the list goes on, but best of all were the wonderful staff, they were all so friendly, nice, and so helpful. We had a wonderful stay.

Welcome to your vacation estate, where nods to Nantucket's creative history and island beauty fill each guest room with collected artwork, Portuguese pattern-play, and coastal color palettes. Inspired by an art collector, each room is adorned with layered and patterned textiles, rustic Mediterranean elements, and antique wood details influenced by Portuguese design.

The staff was extremely helpful & the room was lovely. Great location in town close to restaurants & shops!

Our room was very comfortable. Nate was so wonderful. Gave us recommendations for lunch and dinner and what to do on the island.. The ferry didn't run on our day of departure and Nate assured us it would not be a problem to stay in our room another night. What a relief! Continental breakfast was more than enough with fresh fruit, yogurt, pastry, coffee and tea. House was so convenient to downtown too for walking as we had no car. All in all a great spring adventure during a noreaster!

We had stayed at Greydon Inn last year. They were booked for the Stroll and knowing how wonderful Nate was from our previous experience, we booked at Anchor Inn. We got the last room in the attic, twin beds which took some getting used to as to not bump our heads on ceiling but lots of laughs! Had a great time all weekend!

I booked a bedroom on the top floor of the inn, and it was just as advertised. It was a very snug space, which was okay for just one person. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was small, but adequate. You do have to go up the stairs, with your luggage, so beware of the need to carry up three flights of stairs. They were able to let me check in early, when I arrived by ferry. Much appreciated!

The Inn is in an excellent location and walkable from the dock. The room was cozy and beautifully decorated. The bed and pillows were extraordinary. Continental breakfast in the AM with some amazing cinnamon rolls to top it off. Would definitely recommend!

We had booked a smaller room and after checking in, found that the ac would not turn on the heat. Paticia, the innkeeper, tried her best to get the issue fixed but was not able to. She very happily moved us to a bigger room. The breakfast was adequate. We appreciated the 24 hour free coffee and tea in the dining area

The food and service at Sister Ship, the dinner restaturant, was great. However making the reservation was a challenge because being late season, they kept changing their schedule.

Great location, very friendly and helpful innkeeper. Our original room was very noisy with a water heater constantly buzzing so he moved us into a different, quieter room. He was cheerful and helpful about this. The new room was great - light and airy and comfortable. The Inn is old and characterful but very very clean and well looked after.
