So many good points. Asked for a ground floor room and this was provided. Plenty of parking space. Outside seating space was really good if it had stopped raining! The staff was brilliant, a credit to the Chequers Inn.

The staff were very hospitable and helpful they went 'the extra mile' and made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast; our meals were tasty and the service excellent. We particularly appreciated the 12 noon checkout as it gave us time to do the Uckfield parkrun and return for an unhurried breakfast and a shower before checkout time. We would stay there again.

Fantastisk beliggenhet og vakkert område. Hyggelig og god atmosfære blandt gjester og ansatte. Har ingen hun selv, men synes det var veldig hyggelig at hunder åpenbart var hjertelig velkomne.
