Set 22 km from Kingsholm Stadium, The Old Lodge offers 4-star accommodation in Stroud and has a garden, a restaurant and a bar. Located around 43 km from Lydiard Park, the inn with free WiFi is also 43 km away from Royal Crescent. The property is non-smoking and is located 25 km from Cotswold Water Park.

The location, in the middle of the town common was so much fun. Livestock of all kinds, mingled together with the golfers. We enjoyed the rather grew-like-topsy floor plan for the public rooms on the ground floor, resulting in numerous interesting nooks and crannies for drinks and snacks. The breakfast was good. Lunch was excellent; we regret not giving the kitchen a try for dinner. Our room was clean and bright with a lovely outlook over the cows on the common.

Very friendly staff, we met Kate at reception who was very helpful. Great breakfast. Outdoor seating area was perfect for evening drinks after a long day. The staff allowed us to charge our EV using an extension cable and an interior socket, which meant we could skip a charge stop the next day. Would definitely stay again, we had a great time.

Many thanks to the staff. I had a late arrival at 1 am. I was only staying one night. I was expected and welcomed. I caused a lot of trouble for the workers but they were very helpful. I was 30 mins late checking out, left my stuff until 6 pm, couldn't use Uber, they helped me get a local taxi, gave me free water. Despite a very difficult day for my family, the staff helped me through it. Hotel have great pub! Very tasty, cosy and aytentic. The hotel has a beautiful view, а children's playground, a beautiful forest and colourful streets for walking. Thank you.

The pub/inn is a beautiful stone building bursting with character, roaring fire and cosy bar areas. The rooms are a rather dated but spacious and suited our needs as we weren't looking for anything luxurious. The Abbot ale and food were great and the staff were very helpful. Overall we had a lovely stay.

The staff member running the pub was so friendly and accommodating, he was running everything by himself which is a big task with so many people staying. The food was also really good, we had dinner and breakfast and both were really tasty.
