What a lovely place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The people and the service are amazing, 10+ out of 10. Not only did they help get our luggage up the stairs, they found umbrellas for us to use on our outings and were there at every turn for anything we might need. The bar staff are super friendly and the cook was amazing. Breakfast is the best I've had, and there were several menu items to choose from. We stayed in the small apartment and really enjoyed having a separate area to watch TV and relax. All in all, we loved our stay here. We would like to return again some day and spend more time with these wonderful people. They truly are the best! ❤️

Great rooms above a quaint and homey pub. Book a meal also… my hubby felt like we walked into a movie scene where the locals are all happy, having a pint by the fire… great atmosphere

An en suite bathroom and a flat-screen TV are featured in each room at The Tollgate Inn.

Tollgate is a 5-minute drive from the Georgian market town of Bradford-on-Avon. The historic city of Bath, known for its spas and pump rooms, is 7 miles away.

The inn is so charming with lovely gardens and a warm homey feel in our room as well as the restaurant/pub. Breakfast was delicious as were the meat pies and all the meals the chef prepared for us. Everyone, especially Carly, Brandon and Layla were happy to help us with anything we asked. Thank you all for a perfect first trip to the English countryside!

Staff was very friendly and polite. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was really nice and well cooked. The room and bathroom were very clean. I like the fact that they are trying to be eco friendly. Location was perfect for us, 4 minutes drive to Bradford on Avon and 20 minutes to Bath.

The bed was very comfortable and the en suite good. Breakfast was also very good, and we also enjoyed the dinner which we paid extra for both nights. Location was fine but a bit too far to walk into town. We found the best place to park was the railway station. Bradford-on-Avon is quite a busy place with lots of traffic and narrow roads through the town.
