    Checking in was a little impersonal with just a key left at the front door. But it turned out to be the perfect solution. In the past month, numerous times we have shown up somewhere prior to check-in and have had to wait. After riding a bike all day this allowed us to let ourselves in, shower and rest up before dinner. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed so can't comment on that. Lots of other places to grab something to eat. Breakfast was great. Not sure why the negative comments. Lots of choices.

    Great surroundings, very beautiful and quiet, great journey to get there through a rather large stretch of Donau valley, like a trip in a fairy tale. Very very friendly staff. Helpful and patience, even though very busy with serving in the restaurant. The price is great for what it offers, so the rather simple room and furniture and the limited dinner menu in the restaurant are not to be mentioned compared to all other positives. Oh, did I mention the great breakfast?
