It does not feel like a hotel, you get a very hommie feeling and exceptional service. There is an option to have dinner at the guest house and try some home made traditional food cooked by Jevi (Keli's mum), delicious.. Breakfast is very good with a very nice view. Good wifi. Marcel and his family have created a rustic haven with modern accommodation they have just completed. Breakfast and dinner in the shade of fruit trees and grapevines, overlooking the vineyard was stunning. Chickens, a turkey and guinea fowl amongst the vineyard were constant amusement. Marcel was an outstanding host and couldn't do enough for us from the moment we arrived.

They offer breakfast and dinner - which were both amazing, home cooked and very special. The guest house is very nice, awesome view from our terrace, super clean and cozy room, very nice calm and relaxing vibe, very close to the bazar and the castle.

All the family welcomed us very warmly, and helped us to park the car which is not that easy in the old city center. The room is clean and comfy. The vue from the terrace over the mountains is really nice, especially when dinner or breakfast. I recommend!

The host and his wife were most friendly and helpful. I highly recommend to have dinner in this place. We had traditional soup, pie, lamb stew, dessert and fruits for 13 EUR and the food was delicious. We ate lunch at the well-known Taverna Traditionale in Gjirokastra and I would say that the food in guesthouse Mele was better. And you can enjoy your meal from the terrace with wonderful view to the castle, not sitting by roadside.

The room was comfortable and cool. We ate dinner cooked by Matilda’s mum and it was really delicious. Breakfast was also great and it was really lovely to eat out on the terrace.

Edmond and his family were just really nice and caring Hosts. the rooms are spacey and clean. the breakfast was delicious and the view from the terrace is truly amazing. the location is really good, it’s just 5 min walk to the old bazaar and the castle, but at the guest house itself it’s really calm. although we didn’t have dinner at the guest house, we saw our room neighbours dining and it looked really good, so I would recommend trying it out. looking forward to come back.

The location is perfect to the old town visit, and very quiet! The view on the roof top is very beautiful! We stayed 2 days and had dinners at the guesthouse the both evenings because the food is very good and generous. For us it was the best dinners of our trip in Albania: we recommend it! We spent nice days at Mele house ! Thank you to Edmond and its family!
