We searched far and wide for a unique cabin that offered decks, vaulted ceilings, an open floor plan and spectacular mountain top views. When we saw this cabin we immediately envisioned the renovation details and put together a plan of action. This is not only a rental property but also our family's peaceful getaway!

We are a couple living and working in Los Angeles. We enjoy travel and experiencing the world as often as possible. The unique detail we love most about short term vacation rentals, is that when traveling you are staying in another person's home setting and usually, with the right guidance from the host, experiencing more of the local flavor than you would by staying in a hotel. Our renovated Big Bear cabin is our second turn at hosting travelers as we had another listing in Los Angeles that garnered us the Superhost and Premier host badges while the property was active. With @SilverTipCabin our goal was to create a modern clean feel, while integrating repurposed rustic touches throughout in this peaceful mountain getaway.

The area is upper Moonridge and is considered to be more relaxed and away from the crowds. Close to Bear Mountain Golf Course, Big Bear Alpine Zoo and Big Bear Mountain Ski Resort. Also close by, located on Moonridge Rd. are a deli, coffee shop, and massage spa. We found the name @SilverTipCabin fitting, although we are not located on Silver Tip Street.
