Chile enthusiasts from all over the world come to participate in the "red or green" event. During non-Chile Festival times, the surrounding areas are calmer. We have fields of growing cotton, wheat, onions, as well as Chiles. The pecan orchards provide resplendent towers of green in this lush valley.
