The staff is amazing and is making sure that their guests feel welcome! One example: We went on an early hike and would've missed breakfast. So the staff prepared us sandwiches and fruit to take with! Power might go out time by time (NOT the Lodge's fault), but the Eden Valley team and its generator work magic. Good Wifi in tents and bungalows (for the ones who need it). There's no AC in the bungalows, but there's AC in the tents.

Fantastic helpful staff who couldnt have done more. The tent/pod we stayed in was exactly as described and everything worked perfectly. Absolutely brilliant breakfast location overlooking the jungle and the waterfall and the food, especially the fruit and coffee, was plentiful. The property is out of the way which in itself gives you a true rainforest experience. Cant think of anywhere I have stayed like it. Would love to go again

Private and lovely place in the middle of the rainforest next to the waterfall. They have a special pool for fish who clean your legs and give a lovely relaxing massage. Just put your legs in and enjoy nature around you. In the late evening, there is hundreds of fruit bats coming out and flying around the valley.

This place is amazing, the location is flawless, with nature everywhere and the permanent sound of the cascade which makes it very special. We stayed in one of the bungalows which had two nice bedrooms and a big bathroom; it also had a big terrace with a hammock and some sofas to chill. The place also has a pool which is very convenient to refresh and relax in order to beat the heat. The staff was very nice and they can make you dinner if requested in advance, very tasty dishes. We totally recommend this place, we will be back!

We stayed in the pods. Lots of room, comfy bed, great view of the forest and very unique to sleep in. Staff were amazing and accommodating, delicious food. Wi-Fi worked fine in the pod. No issues with electricity. The pool is quite small but nice to relax in. Very nice breakfast. The host is great with communication and responds very quickly. Was very helpful with all the tips around the area.

Small and family run lodge, where one is treated attentively but not intrusively as an individual. Ideally situated, in Madalena with easy access to the northwest of the island (via Santo Amaro) or the the city of St.Tomé / southeast (via Trindade). Breakfast was plenty in quality and quantity. They do have the possibility of offering dinner if one orders at least with 12 hour notice. The meals were exquisitely prepared by a young chef Mr. Ramos. Mr.Antonio and the remaining staff were extremely helpful.

Great quite place in the middle of the woods. Very friendly stuff and good food. Breakfast is good but not many choices. for those who need comfort there is wifi in the Appartements, AC and a frig. A few problems with the main electricity. elcome in Africa 😀W

Spacious bungalow, clean, with a nice view. The evening meal prepared by the chef was delicious, I had the fish fillet and I highly recommend. His passion fruit mousse is the best I have ever had. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
