A bohemian summer paradise in the charming area of Rute on northern Gotland. This home, originating from 1923, offers a delightful oasis close to both the sea and the forest. You can rent one of our cottages, which are comfortably furnished with cozy beds and private space. However, other facilities may need to be shared with other guests. The property has electricity, WiFi, and municipal fresh water, but lacks hot water and sewage. A natural plot totaling 3300 square meters with beautiful pines, a cultivated garden, apple trees, and berry bushes, as well as grassy areas for you to enjoy. The Bakery Cottage offers a 25 sqm large indoor kitchen and dining room. Here we enjoy cooking, music and social dinners. An outdoor kitchen with a gas grill, hotplate, and workbench is available. In the green-painted west house made of old windows, the grapevines grow large and strong. Inside, there are tables and chairs free to use. A fire pit for grilling. Firewood is available. However, during a fire ban on the island, the fire pit is not allowed to be used. Outdoor shower, washbasin, and a fresh separett with chimney ventilation. Free parking is available next to the property.

I'm into social sciences, speak a bit of Spanish, don't mind a chat and always order something new when I go to a restaurant. I live in Stockholm with my partner Louise, my two sons Jack and Tom every second week as well as Elna, my daughter in law. I run a startup in AI today. But actually another startup brought me to Gotland in 2014 and kept me for five years. Today I enjoy it with our own summer property that we cherish and want to share for more to enjoy.

Our place is just 15min from the ferry to Fårö and minutes away from beaches, restaurants and sightseeings. The north is a place of striking contrasts: short distances separate lush greenery, farmland, and stark, bare landscapes—from pebbly shores to fine white sandy beaches. There are many stunning gems to discover, such as Halls fishing village, the stony coast at Ar, the Blue Lagoon, Hideviken, Valleviken, Kyllaj, St Olof, Smöjen, Åminne, Furillen, Bungenäs... dare to explore the small roads to find your favorite spot.
