The property is a ten rooms farmhouse in a forest of olive trees, 20 minutes from the Athens airport and 25 minutes from the port of Rafina or the beach of Artemis. Getting around is easy by car or taxi, but not so easy on foot since the countryside requires distances of more than 10 minutes of walking for the nearby buses that will take you to Pallini, Spata or even the metro towards Athens and the historical center. Costas' farmhouse can accommodate travelers in three main rooms sharing the kitchen, the living room, and the large northern terrace with a spacious yard.

The host is a former educator (PhD Chemist) with many interests including winemaking, beekeeping, gardening, cooking, painting and recently BNB hosting. I have traveled a great deal in my life both domestically and abroad. My accommodation ranged from train stations and the countryside to historic buildings and luxury hotels. Camps and hostels I think were the most interesting cases. People precede landscapes. And everyday life is more important than History. We are located in a semi-rural area of eastern Attica, in an olive grove with many vineyards and farms, in a typical simple Attic landscape. Winter and spring are filled with flowers and a wide variety of semi-wild vegetation, which we miss during the dry summer. Getting around is easy by car or taxi, but not so easy on foot since the countryside requires distances of more than 10 minutes walk. Five minutes by car, there is the largest shopping center in Greece with 150 different shops (supermarket, clothing and cosmetics, coffee bars and restaurants), the largest Zoo in Greece and a water park. The airport is relatively close (20 minutes from the Spata area). The center of Athens is almost an hour away by car or a little more by taxi or by means of transport (bus and metro). We are close to Attiki Odos, which can take you with your car quickly and safely to any part of Greece.
