The Summer House is a self contained holiday home just outside the historic University city of Cambridge. The property comes as an open plan layout with electric underfloor heating throughout, kingsize double bed, kitchenette with microwave (including grill), kettle, toaster and fridge, free wi-fi, 32" flat screen TV, seating area and bathroom with shower. A dedicated parking space for guests is available free of charge. The holiday home and premises are non-smoking and due to the layout of the property, we do not allow children. The Summer House is a self contained detached building located to the rear of our main property, accessible via a separate entrance to the right-hand side. Once you have arrived, please knock on the front door and we will greet you and show you to the accommodation. Key collection via our secure key-safe is available for out of hours arrivals and arranged on request. Cambridge Airport is 5.7 miles away from the property London Stansted Airport is 30.5 miles from the property. Grantchester is 5.1 miles away from the property. Ely Cathedral is 17.4 miles away from the property.

We have lived in Girton, Cambridge for over 20 years and love it! It's a super friendly area within a short distance of the city centre, so a perfect base for exploring everything Cambridge and the surrounding area has to offer. We love travelling and meeting people and understand how important it is that people feel welcome and at home.

The Summer House is located approximately 2.5 miles (4.02km) from Cambridge City Centre. There is plenty to see and do in Cambridge with everything from famous universities and shopping to great food to a fine selection of traditional pubs. We are conveniently located within a short bus or taxi ride close to the historic city centre, which boasts variety of local attractions. If you prefer to eat and drink locally, we have two great pubs within a few minutes’ drive or 15 minute walk from The Summer House - The Old Crown (our personal favourite) which serves exceptional traditional pub food and The George which serves authentic Thai cuisine!
