Adjacent to the guesthouse stands a detached barn house, whose owner is a quiet gentleman. You may occasionally find farm machinery or vehicles stored within the grounds of the properties. Apart from the barn house, there are no through roads or streetlights, allowing you enjoy the tranquil environment in seclusion. Begin your exploration with walks, hikes, mountain biking trails, and wild swimming opportunities that commence right at your doorstep, allowing you to immerse yourself in the captivating natural beauty that envelops you. You can also explore numerous attractions a short distance away by car. Most of the roads within the National Park near the house are single tracks. Additionally, native Herdwick sheep often wander onto the road, so please be patient with them.
