A tastefully decorated New England Style Lodge in an idyllic setting positioned between two fishing lakes in the Cotswold Water Park. The lodge is located in exceptionally well manicured grounds providing a varied selection of free activities for all staying on site. There is access to tennis courts, croquet, table tennis, children's play area, boule, small sandy beach areas, non motorised boating on Windrush Lake and fishing (license and site permit required) on Isis Lakes.
The Cotswolds is a family favourite so when the opportunity arose to purchase a family holiday lodge in the Cotswolds Water Parks there was no holding back. We have two boys both with their own families who can come along to enjoy on their own or we can come together as one family. We love that the area caters for all our needs be it walking, socialising in local cafes or pubs or any water based activity. At the end of the day we can reflect on our day over a glass of wine or beer looking out over Isis Lake just perfect for us. There is plenty to do on site and off. There is of course all the on site activities. The Gateway centre opposite the Cotswold Water Parks have a variety of walks and cycle routes mapped out and available on a map from their information cabin, online and in the lodge itself. South Cerney the local village with pubs, small supermarkets is a 20 minute walk. Cycles can be hired from the Gateway centre. There are a few lakes that facilitate water sports including water skiing, cable skiing, hiring of kayaks, paddle boards, lake swimming etc. Cafes, pubs, restaurants all accessible with just a short walk. A Lake Beach at Cotwolds Water Park, be sure to book at peek season, farms and wildlife parks, Cotswolds villages and Cirencester the capital of the Cotswolds and other Cotswolds villages are all a short drive away. There is a bus stop just outside the site for buses running every 20 minutes to Cheltenham, Cirencester and Swindon they pass through local village of South Cerney and Cricklade. Parking on site is in any gravelled bay.
