Gorlan is a two bedroom cottage set in beautiful Conwy Valley North Wales. Within just a few miles drive you can explore ancient castles, beautiful beaches and stunning hiking trails.
My name is Mark and I live and work in the Conwy area. I also spend much of my free time in the area walking and kayaking so I have a good knowledge of Conwy county and the most popular points of interest.
The cottage is within the tiny village of Tal y Bont, just 8 miles from Conwy town centre In the village you will find a general convenience store, a butcher, an award wining restaurant and the local pub Y Bedol which has a reputation for serving up a lovely Sunday roast dinner. Just outside the cottage are bus stops so if you fancy leaving the car behind you can travel to the coast to explore Conwy or maybe Llandudno ? The other direction will take you into Snowdonia National Park where you can visit the market town of Llanrwst or discover the slate industry of Blaenau Ffestinog, the choice really is endless.
