This is a very unique place on the rocks in front of the bay of Marseilles. Both at the end of the world and 15 mn from downtown, both a place of solitude facing the sea and popular bathing, This is a "cabanon marseillais", 45 m2, that I have renovated with top quality building materials and equipments, preserving poetic traces of past times. It likes to be the reflect and witness of the history of Marseilles, city of travellers and exiles, meeting and melting, and wonderful surprises. The place is ideal for a couple or a couple with 2 children. Perfect for 2 couples of friends.
After a carrer in creative fashion, I have now a practice in visual arts. Today, my studio is located in the main house overhanging the "cabanon"which, for a long while, was a style studio. Some of my works and those of artists I appreciate are sometimes shown in the "cabanon d'artiste". I like to share taste and ideas when circumstances permit exchanges.
Winding streets, provence houses, small fishing port.. rue Homère, rue Monplaisir, impasse des quatre vents, rue va à la calanque...the village of Malmousque, a maze which I keep discovering, perfectly embodies the picturesque quality of Marseilles. The sea side is made of rocks and small creeks with pebbles. At 15mn walk are the sand beaches of Catalans and Prophète, more adequate for young children bathing. At 200 mts on Corniche Kennedy, you will find bar, restaurants, and food trade and pharmacy open 7/7.
