Welcome to Monashee Vineyards, a private oasis located within a 20 acre vineyard setting 5 minutes from Penticton and directly accessible off Naramata Road and the KVR trail. Both of our suites (The Writers Room and the Wine Room) have private access and bathrooms and offer views of Okanagan Lake, Munson Mountain (Canada's youngest extinct Volcano), and a Tuscan style courtyard designed to provide the ultimate in vineyard enjoyment and privacy. Both rooms have AC, flat screen TV’s and free wifi. The property is within walking distance to over 16 wineries, many of which have full service restaurants and artisan cheese making facilities. The KVR trail crosses the western edge of the property and is easily accessible. The Three Blind Mice hiking/cycling area is a short walk/bike ride away, and a local beach is just 5 minutes from the property. This property is a non-smoking adult orientated facility with a two night minimum stay. Each room has a wine fridge and there is a common area with wine glasses, coffee, tea and a microwave. Come and enjoy panoramic views from our various terraces, relax in our courtyard and gardens, or stroll through vineyards enroute to wine heaven.

Bill is an ex-geologist who spent most of his career in the international arena. He subsequently worked in the wine industry, initially in California and then later in the Okanagan as co-owner/manager of Hillside Estate Winery. Bill bought the property in 2000 and proceeded to design and plant the surrounding 20 acre vineyard in 2002. His intimate knowledge of the Okanagan wine industry and it's setting are valuable assets that he gladly shares with his guests. Deb is originally from Calgary but has lived and worked throughout the eastern United States. She is an avid skier, golfer and squash player. She enjoys meeting our guests and spending time with them explaining what some of the more unique activities include in our surrounding area.

The unique design of the estate, its pastoral vineyard setting, and ideal location for visiting the world class wineries and restaurants of the Naramata Bench are some the best features of Monashee Vineyard and Guest Rooms. Located just 5 minutes by car from downtown Penticton, the setting is rural, private, and spacious. We are surrounded on three sides by rolling vineyards and panoramic views of Okanagan Lake and the Munson Mountain and Giants Head volcanic ranges. Picture yourself cycling, swimming, or hiking in the morning followed by wine touring and then dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants. All without having to start your car!
