Very kind and helpful staff, we arrived in Sukhothai at 2 am and he woke up to check us in. Good air conditioning, comfortable bed, quiet area, nice breakfast. Ground floor access good for people with mobility issues or super heavy suitcase. Allowed luggage storage after check-out.

The rooms in the hostel are air conditioned and fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, DVD player, a kettle, a computer and a CD player. All units at Baan Mae Somkid Homestay are fitted with a shared bathroom and bed linen. Absolutely amazing hostel. The family working there are incredible, could not have been more accommodating, booking tuktuks whenever and where ever we wanted to go. I was greeted by the full family, and given a delicious cup of tea and then decorated a krathong that was made by the grandma to take to the ancient city that evening. The sons English is very good and can definitely make life much easier!

We really enjoyed the stay in this Hostel, cause it definitive gave us a Smiling Face :D It was the perfect spot to explore Sukhothei (especially because of the free Bicycles). The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was also good. We could highly recommend this place and are looking forward to come back there again.

Everything! Staff, especially Kwan, were very nice and super helpful, lots of useful advice on Wats to visit. Bikes on site available for free. Good free breakfast with a few available options. Free water, coffee, tea. Lovely grounds, patio, hammocks. Great location in old Town close to the historical sites and restaurants.

Very lovely small hotel with 9 bungalows and a central pool (great to relax). Had a very comfy room and the best breakfast that we had in all of Thailand. Staff was very attentive and helped at all times. You can walk into the city (20 mins) or take a free bike. Superb stay and also budget-friendly. Can definetly recommend it!

The location of this hostel is very good! Just opposite the historical park, we arrived early that morning, and the boss was very enthusiastic to check in for us in the early morning. This place is very suitable for history lovers. Renting bicycles and eating are next door and cheap. Next time I come to Suktay, I will still live here!

Great location-we were debating staying in the Old City or new Sukhothai but so glad we stayed here. Super easy to adventure around on a bike for the day (30thb pretty much everywhere) and explore the historical park. Head to central zone for sunset We ate Tom Yum Soup at the night market in front of the main central temple with yellow lantern bridge (delish, cheap and full of locals) Room clean with nice shower and small balcony

I had a bed for one night in one of the dorms. I would say it is totally okay for one night but I would recommend anoher room or another Hostel for a stay in Sukhothai. Good and cheap Breakfast. Possibility to rent bikes or bicycles. Late night Check-In possibility.

great location. Around the corner from a fab restaurant and then some great bars. Friendly staff, very accommodating. Lovely pool and great sized rooms. Cheap Tuktuk ride 200bt (great guy) into the old city
