Located in Älvkarleby and with Furuvik reachable within 14 km, Officersvillorna, Älvkarleby Vandrarhem provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Brilliant stay at this beautiful vandrarhem! Beautiful area with easy access from the train station (just 10 minutes walk). Beautiful old fashioned house. Great value for money. Before I went I read a few reviews that claimed the place seemed run-down. This is a ridiculous statement, it's a old heritage building so obviously not brand new inside or out, but nicely painted, comfortable beds and good facilities. Cannot wait to come back again!

Hågadalens Hostel & Vandrarhem is located in Uppsala, right next to the Hågadalen - Nåstens Nature Reserve, and features comfortable, modern rooms with seating area and wooden floors. We liked the kindness of the hostess very much We got the impression that every detail in this hostel has been thought out and designed with great care and elegance. If we - four pensioners - had any prejudices against hostels, staying in Uppsala dispelled them.

Located within less than 1 km of Uppsala Konsert & Kongress and a 15-minute walk of Linneaus museum, Vandrarhem Kvarntorget provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Uppsala. I like the cleaninness of the place. I was at home with the friendliness of the staff members. I was satisfied with the facilities in the hotel including laundry, kitchen and lobby.

Situated in Uppsala, 1.1 km from Linneaus museum, Vandrarhem Uppsala - Portalgatan features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Everything was clean and it had everything I needed. Also appreciated the fact that the place had laundry.

Uppsala City Hostel is located in the heart of Uppsala, 500 metres from Uppsala Central Station and 300 metres from the main square, Stora Torget. Great bang for the buck, and probably the friendliest hostel in Uppsala. It is clean, tidy and very calm. Stayed here 3 times over the years, and always seem to end up having the most interesting conversations with the guy running the place about the different curiosities in our respective countries (I'm a Swede who emigrated to Spain 16 years ago). The place is located right in the very middle of Uppsala putting it right next to restaurants, stores and "must see's". Next time I plan another visit to Uppsala this hostel will be on the very top of the list of places to stay.

Extremely friendly staff, clean rooms and bathroom, fantastic location right next to the train station. Great value for money! Also - there was a HUGE amount of electrical sockets in the room.

This hotel is a 15-minute walk from Uppsala Central Station and the Concert & Congress Hall. I visited Hotell Kvarntorget three times. The room is nice. And there are many toilets and shower rooms. Especially the lobby is very nice. Also the staffs at the reception are kind. Hotell Kvarntorget is very nice!

This quiet hostel is set in a 19th-century building, 400 metres from Uppsala Central Station. It offers free Wi-Fi, a guest kitchen and TV lounge. it’s nice and clean. very close to train station.
