Situated in Ponta Delgada, 13 km from Pico do Carvao, Sky PDL features air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. We were able to check in early and also after check out the host allowed us to store our bags and use the common areas. A good breakfast was served. The room we had was spacious with a nice balcony and good-sized bathroom with shower and clean towels. The bed is super comfy with nice sheets. Air-conditioning works well. Even though the building is located in the city centre right in front of the main street the widows are sound proof and we had a good nice sleep.

Loving Strangers Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Madalena. The accommodation provides karaoke and a shared kitchen. By far the best hostel we've stayed. Great location, wonderful host. Amazing dinner. You should definitely stay here if you're exploring the island!

Located in Ponta Delgada, Santa Alegria Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. I'd been before in other hostels and this one is a luxury hostel. It'd really quiet at night since Azores is a place for nature, not partying. It's exceptionally clean. Bed sheets and towels are changed each day. It feels like a shared apartment with people from all over the world. Most of them search for nature and quietness. There is no reception but the staff lives in the house behind the garden so there's no problem.

Absolutely lovely hostel, probably one of the best I've ever stayed at! The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean. I loved everything about this place.
