The place is very cute, unique, artistic(owner is an artist). I am so lucky to able to find that place. I still dream about the place. That place is the finale of our Tahiti trip. Thank you Yenita! I miss Papeye and Yuka!

Friendly staff in a rural and beautiful part of Tahiti. The room was clean and comfortable. They also have a motor scooter rental here which is convenient to get around. Within driving distance to Teahupo'o, and scenic parks and beaches. There is a market with baguettes only 15 minutes walk away.

It is very clean for being a dorm. And has separated ground floor beds, no bunk beds. And there are separators (= mobile walls) between the beds so u have your privacy. There is also the availability of a single room where you are all alone. That costs a bit more. Madame and her family are really nice and very helping with everything you need. I stayed twice there before flights and would book again anytime. The guesthouse is really close to the airport. They provide a shuttle service for a reasonable extra fare, or you can take the bus (station only few meters away) or even walk to the airport (1 km).

Situated in Papeete, less than 1 km from Plage Hokule'a, Mahana Lodge Hostel & Backpacker offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and concierge services. Very lovely and affordable hostel. Right in the center of Papeete, across from the Tahiti market, walking distance to ferry, 8 min drive to airport. Maui the owner is incredibly helpful and organized. I had such a pleasant experience here i returned. Friendly atmosphere good for stopping at as a stop over on your way to explore the islands.
