Staff is amazing. Playing music from my country early in the morning was priceless. Each staff member helped us in a specific and special way. Facilities were great. Lawrelle, the Proprietress, and her family, we’re amazing!!! They treated all the guests as family and were very quick to resolve any minor issues that have arisen while I was there. the amazing family was good enough reason for me to go back next time around!!! Though the building is old, to me it’s beautiful - like all the old Victorian houses of it’s era, with the high ceiling, spacious living/dining room, a quiet nook, spacious kitchen, lots of bathrooms, and in my private & separate female dorm, we have our own bathroom, refrigerator & sets of wares & kettle!!! I like the private & detached female dorm - we all got along and most guests are on a 1-yr working holiday. Love it’s location - near the CBD and vineyards galore, since I love wines!!!! Everything is within walking distance, except most wineries, but one. Thanks a million Lawrelle and family for a wonderful stay!!!! I miss you all and all the other guests there I’ve come to know and see & interact everyday - the regulars.
