Escape the hustle and bustle at Anakiwa Lodge, located in central Anakiwa, 70 metres from the waterfront. It offers extensive outdoor sundecks, ideal for viewing the surrounding bush. The location was excellent. Quiet and beautiful scenery.

Atlantis Backpackers is a minutes walk from Picton Waterfront and a 2-minute walk from Picton Train Station. This simple accommodation features barbecue facilities and free on-site parking. Staff is amazing. Playing music from my country early in the morning was priceless. Each staff member helped us in a specific and special way. Facilities were great. The whole place was clean and cozy.

Lawrelle, the Proprietress, and her family, we’re amazing!!! They treated all the guests as family and were very quick to resolve any minor issues that have arisen while I was there. the amazing family was good enough reason for me to go back next time around!!! Though the building is old, to me it’s beautiful - like all the old Victorian houses of it’s era, with the high ceiling, spacious living/dining room, a quiet nook, spacious kitchen, lots of bathrooms, and in my private & separate female dorm, we have our own bathroom, refrigerator & sets of wares & kettle!!! I like the private & detached female dorm - we all got along and most guests are on a 1-yr working holiday. Love it’s location - near the CBD and vineyards galore, since I love wines!!!! Everything is within walking distance, except most wineries, but one. Thanks a million Lawrelle and family for a wonderful stay!!!! I miss you all and all the other guests there I’ve come to know and see & interact everyday - the regulars.

Featuring an outdoor hot tub, refurbished modern kitchen, cinema-style TV room, and shared dining and living room areas, Sequoia Lodge offers free WiFi, free bikes and free chocolate pudding. - Very friendly staff - breakfast (which ia quite simple but it's still breakfast) is included in the price - compared to other backpacker's this is really cheap for what you get -private double rooms are great with a lot of priacy -It's about 15 minutes walk to town, which is okay and makes it really quiet
