Amazing location, super comfortable beds, everything was nice and clean. This was one of my favorite stays of my trip, I almost wished I had a longer stay. They also had a bit of the Lord of the Rings soundtrack weaved into the mix of music playing and I LOVED IT. Nice quiet songs I think even a non fan could appreciate and just alternated in there a bit with their other music. For me it created such an amazing atmosphere. If I ever manage to make my way back to Tekapo I'd love to stay here again

Haka House Aoraki Mt Cook er staðsett í Suður-Ölpunum, 200 metrum frá Sir Edmund Hillary-alpamiðstöðinni og býður upp á útsýni yfir Mount Cook. I enjoyed the location, the dorm, view from there, facilities. All was great. Everything is new, clean, well organized. Staff is nice. Probably one of the greatest hostels I ever saw

Merino-stöðin er um 30.000 ekrur að stærð og er staðsett við Ahuriri-ána, í 15 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá miðbæ Omarama. Loved the isolation the space incredible view of night sky obviously that's not guaranteed spent some time trying to explain to a Chinese girl where Orion's belt lay and significance of belt pointing to Sirius the dog star ⭐ brightest star in the sky not sure if I get through but the whole process of travelling is meeting people so nothing lost Beds comfiest I've stayed in all week
