The hostel is within a 15-minute drive from Songjeong Beach and the famous coffee street along the beach. Ojukheon, a famous residence of a politician of Joseon Dynasty built in the 1500s, is also within a 15-miute from the hostel. Gangneung Express Bus Terminal is a 10-minute drive away. The owner is super nice and very caring. The beds were comfy, and everything was clean.

He really helped me have an amazing time in Gangnueng. This property is so close to the traditional market which is brimming with good smells and things to try. Probably the nicest I’ve seen in Korea. You can also get a bus quite easily to the lake and beach areas. You can even get a coach to and from Serokasan mountain if you leave early enough! It’s a clean, quite place where you can make a nice breakfast or relax after a day seeing Gangnueng.

The rooms include a private bathroom and a shower, and some rooms at the hostel have a terrace. At Mr. Slow rooms come with bed linen and towels. Beautiful view, very comfortable bed well equiped rooms with a cafe right below. Seems to only have 2 rooms available, we booked both and each has a totally different layout. Both rooms are lovely. No lift, and rooms are on level 3 and 4. It's okay if no old folks or huge luggages to carry. But would totally still recommend this place to stay, and if possible more than 1 night to enjoy the space.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 1.5 km from Chunghon Geulin Park. The communal area was lovely and well kept. The shower was very powerful which was lovely after a very cold evening. The staff were lovely and very welcoming, will be booking in the future

You can play table tennis at the hostel. Seorak Waterpia is under a 20-minute drive from 블루 도어 호스텔 게스트하우스, while Sokcho Beach is under a 20-minute walk away. The owners are very friendly people who helped with a couple of tips. The guesthouse is located directly opposite the beach with a stunning walking area. There are many restaurants and shops around. There is a bus stop within a 10-minute walk that leads to Seoraksan, and it takes 15-20 minutes to get to Seoraksan itself. Their magnificent black dog leaves special emotions, which you just want to hug!

It was 1 at night when we reached the property as my sister had a late international flight and then we followed kakao maps that took us to a different location. As we were lost, the couple came looking for us and got us to the property. Don't think we can ever be thankful enough, for their kind gesture. The room is clean and perfect for a family of four. The locality is perfect and I give this property 10/10 for the breakfast, cleanliness and lovely property. .
