The Nest Boutique Hostel offers a majority of double and twin ensuite rooms which have comfy beds, soft linen, power showers, fridges and contemporary Irish art work. The whole hostel is designed very well so you feel cosy. I appreciate that it has other separate bathrooms where you don't disturb others when you need to use it early in the morning. No problem to borrow a hairdryer. It was nice to have towels, and soap in the bathroom. It seemed like a small thing but I was very annoyed that in the different hostel I stayed on my trip in Ireland, there was simply nothing and the price was the same. It's about 30 minutes walk from the train station, but the walk is nice and along the way, there is a big Tesco store, which was useful for me. But you can use a bus, there is also a bus stop nearby. I stayed only one night but can imagine staying longer.

Prisbelønte Kinlay Hostel ligger på hjørnet av Eyre Square i Galway, 1 minutts gange fra både buss- og jernbanestasjonene. The breakfast is very high standard for a hostel. Staff so friendly and happy to help at all the times. Also as a solo traveler the pub crawl option that the hostel offers is great to meet people. We gathered with another 2 hostels and it was amazing! Really well located, close to everything.

Snoozles is a modern & purpose built tourist hostel. It’s Galway City Centre location beside the Coach and Train Stations is just a 2 minute walk to Eyre Square in the heart of Galway City. It was value for money. The kitchen was well equipped, organized and clean to use. Breakfast was good as well. Kids had options to play games or watch a movie in the common area. Close proximity to some nice places.

Situated in Ballynahinch, 17 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial, Ben Lettery Hostel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. It was good! very comfortable and the staff were lovely. I loved the flapjacks.

Set on the Dephi Adventure Resort in Leenaun, the Wild Atlantic Hostel offers free WiFi in public areas and a shared lounge. The hostel is in a great location for exploring Connemara. Simple, yet comfortable accommodation with beautiful surroundings. We didn’t stay long enough to take advantage of the activities offered by the resort, but there were lots on offer.

Set in Cong, 1 km from Ashford Castle in County Mayo, Lakeland House offers budget accommodation with barbecue facilities and free private parking. Lovely hosts very nice and helpfull, great location with a wonderfull view over the lake and a comfortable and very clean house.

Situated in the centre of Connemara and overlooking the Killary fjord, The Connemara Hostel offers free Wi-Fi, a tennis court and free on-site parking. Location was amazing and staff were very helping and friendly! They helped us with our bus connections both ways and answered all our questions politely when we wre there.
