Basecamp Wales offers family-run hostel accommodation in Llanllyfni, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and 30.3 km from Pen-Y-Pass and 8.2 km to the beach at Dinas Dinlle. The staff were friendly and I loved the honesty section in the kitchen. The communal area was lovely. The rooms were brilliant and it was awesome to see the bunk beds were double beds!

Situated in Betws-y-coed, 20 km from Snowdon, Woodlands Centre features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Amazing location close to restaurants and beautiful walks close by. The buses to Snowdonia are within a 5 minute walk of the hostel as well which was great! The common areas were spacious, a large kitchen to use, showers had hot water and the beds were wooden so there was no squeaking. The staff were lovely and gave us advice for our trip - would stay here again next time we’re back!

Situated in a converted school house, Lodge Dinorwig is located in Dinorwig, 8 km from Snowdon. Free private parking is available on site. communication was excellent, Nothing too much trouble, Any reasonable request was accommodated. Large and comfortable communal room. Well stocked self facilities for tea and coffee making were very good.

Located in Caernarfon and within 13 km of Snowdon Mountain Railway, Totters Hostel features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. The location was fantastic, minutes walk to a pub for dinner. We had the top floor and the views were amazing. The bathroom was a great relief as it was a good size, clean and everything worked.

Llangollen Hostel Self-catering is a 4-star, Victorian town house in the centre of Llangollen. Llangollen Hostel = standout quality. Delivers well beyond what they charge for their rooms. Which work well for families or individuals. The workers I dealt with, or saw dealing with other lodgers, were attentive and responsive. There's an excellent energy to the crew. At least one member speaks Welsh too! Which was fun for me, a Welsh-language learner. The establishment itself's conveniently located in a lovely town. Bed was good, room was quiet; I slept well. Definitely get a top-floor room if you can: the view!

Situated in Fishguard, close to the Pembrokeshire Coastal path, Hamilton Lodge - Cottage sleeps 8 has 3 bedrooms and a secluded cottage garden with covered terrace. We were able to set thermostat where we liked. I appreciated this sooo much! The house is amazing with three bathrooms! I loved being in the house it is beautiful and so many helpful details were given to us about wifi and where to go locally etc. Our host was super friendly and helpful with questions! We were able to do washing at the house which was lovely too! I was very happy to be in a house where recycling is taken seriously too. We had a great stay! The host is a seriously lovely person.
