Located in Caernarfon and within 13 km of Snowdon Mountain Railway, Totters Hostel features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. The owner met us and welcomed us warmly. Our room was very comfortable. The shared bathroom was clean and functioned well. The dining and living areas were well-kept. The basement dining room is really lovely - ancient and rare. Continental breakfast with multiple options. Location was exceptional. Plenty of public street parking and paid parking nearby. We found a free spot to use overnight. If we had needed to pay, it was minimal. I highly recommend this hostel.

Llangollen Hostel Self-catering is a 4-star, Victorian town house in the centre of Llangollen. It’s immaculately clean, well thought through, everything worked like clockwork. Very comfortable. Lovely views from the top floor.

Location, lovely staff, delicious breakfasts, free access to most of the building (lounge, game room, library), bonfire area. Mattress was quite hard but that's what we like and we slept like a babies
