Well first off I’ve never commented on this before so I suspect it’s because they’ve all been satisfactory however the shower in this room was amazing. I spent almost an hour in the shower.

The best hostel I have stayed in Costa Rica so far! Owners were so friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and I felt so safe there. I’ll definitely be back and I would 100% recommend that to everyone who needs a place to stay close to the airport.

This hostel was just what we were looking for! The owners are incredible and the place is so peaceful and beautiful we honestly didn’t want to leave! If you are looking for a place that feels like home right when you step in, this is the one. I cannot recommend it enough.

Sky Hostel er staðsett í Fortuna, í innan við 5 km fjarlægð frá La Fortuna-fossinum og 5,4 km frá Kalambu-hverunum. A little off the beaten track made for a quiet, peaceful location where I could really relax.

Cabañas San Isidro er staðsett í Ángeles, 18 km frá La Fortuna-fossinum, og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði og grillaðstöðu. Great place for families with kids. We even got invited to the dinner with Juan - the owner of the property, and his wonderful wife and friends. Plus we also got a free excursion in the sorrounding garden where Juan grows mangos, avocados, blackberries and meny other fruits. Absolutely recommend.

Pura Vibra Hostel er staðsett í Fortuna og La Fortuna-fossinn er í innan við 5,6 km fjarlægð. The hostel is situated in a quiet area, but 2 minute walk from the 'center of town'. The vibe is very relaxed, with a garden and terraces where you can sit and meet other travelers. Dorms are relatively small, but all have their own bathroom and there is plenty of room for everyone because you are out and about during the day anyway. The kitchen is big and well-equiped. At 10:30 p.m., lights and music go out, so the peace and quiet is well guarded. Staff is very friendly. The hostel offers very good and very affordable tours through RedLava Tours, but you can also explore the area yourself with an Uber. La Fortuna is lively, with plenty of bars and soda's but still it has a relaxed vibe. La Fortuna is a great hub for exploring the Arenal volcano, rainforest and hotsprings, so I recommend spending at least 3 nights.

Arenal Sloth Hostel er staðsett í Fortuna, í innan við 5 km fjarlægð frá La Fortuna-fossinum og 5,4 km frá Kalambu-hverunum. This new hostel is perfect, very clean and quality/price super. The staff are super kind and Derrick and his cousin are so nice and helpful for everything. The room are very spacious with Ac and private bathroom . The dorm are clean and it was divided in tree rooms with 2 beds in each so I felt to be like in a private room because was not full. The kitchen are very clean too and very well organised, with two spacious and clean fridge, and the storage where to put your foods too. I was impressed by the many home appliances available, from the rice cooker, blender, water boiler, coffee machine with coffee for everyone, and in addition you also have salt, tea and other basic things that you could use it. You could have a laundry wash and dry for 8 dollars, not cheap as everything in Costa Rica, but you also have a place and soap where you can wash and hanging your clothes. 10 minutes by walk from the centre in a quiet area with a good restaurant just beside ( a friend tried and he really enjoyed. The common area whit sofa is very nice . 10 minutes from there you have the free spot “il Salto”. I really recommend.
