Located in Palomino, 400 metres from Palomino Beach, Casa del Pavo Real Boutique Hostel provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. The staff were fantastic. The room was great. The air conditioner was fantastic, and the ceiling fan too. There was mosquito netting around the bed (although I didn't see any mosquitos, probably because of the air conditioning?). Breakfast by the pool was very nice, and the many resident dogs were very good boys and girls. I also recommend a couple of drinks: the Caribbean Dream and the Choco Loco.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and à la carte restaurant and a garden, Tiki Hut Hostel is located just a few steps from Palomino Beach right between Palomino and San Salvador rivers. Best hostel we've stayed in so far! It is very clean (especially the shared toilets and showers), the pools are great, there are loads of options to hang out, and things to do (pool, ping pong, jenga). The staff is very accommodating and the food in the restaurant is awesome. Would definitely recommend!!

Situated within 100 metres of Palomino Beach in Palomino, Maria Mulata Palomino has a garden and a bar, as well as free WiFi throughout the property. I love this place. Everyone's super welcoming, the food is incredible and so are the drinks. Lots of live music and generally great vibes.

Set in Ríohacha, Guajira region, Hammocks - Hamacas is situated 100 metres from Playa de Riohacha. The hostel also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. No complaints! It's basic but well-run. Joshua speaks good English and provided details for a 3 day tour of the desert - also recommended. The hammocks were strong and comfortable.The air conditioning works, there are lockers (bring your own padlock), a courtyard with chairs for socialising, and the beach is a very short walk away. I stayed here twice.

Coco Sänkala Hostel offers accommodation in Palomino. The property is set in an eco-friendly building. You will find a shared kitchen at the property. Common areas have WiFi access and hammocks. We love everything about this hostel. Staff was kind, friendly and supportive! We had three choices of breakfast, which was included in cost of staying and every time breakfast was delicious. Coffee and water provided during all day. Kitchen was well equipped and available for visitors to cook. Our room was very comfortable with bed tables, side benches, a few hooks, a wall fan. It was easy to organize our stuff and still have neat room. They provided daily cleaning service of the room if you wish. The hostel was well maintained and very clean. They use sola panels. So, we had power in our rooms when whole town lost it. Location is great as well. In center of everything, but a little away from the main road. We did not have noise. Highly recommended!

Hostal La Media Luna Palomino is located among the scenic trees and plants of Palomino and only 1 km away from the nearest beach. The open-air hostel offers a shared lounge. La Media Luna was my favorite place to stay in Palomino. Palomino can be hot, dusty, noisy and touristy. Juan (the owner) has created a space that is cooling, clean, peaceful and homey. He is one of the nicest people I've met anywhere in all my travels. My girlfriend and I felt comfortable going into Palomino and getting sweaty and sandy, knowing that we were coming back here where we felt at home. Like all places in Palomino make sure to bring bug spray for the evening mosquito hours, have the homemade Panela tea with breakfast, spend time in the perfectly placed hammocks, give the dogs some belly rubs, and enjoy the lushness of the pool area. Rancheria Utta is located in Cabo de la Vela. It is a simple property that offers a private beach area, restaurant and a small market on site. we libre all the experience, the people, they had vegetarian food and that was amazing. all the place full recommended

Hostel Laguna Salá By FSL has an outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Ríohacha. It was a nice place to stay, social places were really nice and I felt secure there.
