We can't recommend this place enough, as soon as we walked in we felt at home, the owner is so so friendly and made us feel so welcome. We speak very basic Spanish and she was very patient to let us practice and we had some lovely conversations. The rooms were spotless, and they were cleaned every day we were there, and the beds were super comfy. The breakfast was the best we've had in any hotel in South America (coffee, cereal, juice, bread, yoghurts, waffles, egg).

My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The team is very friendly, communicative and helpful. Also, they helped me with information on activities, airport transfers and the area.

The hostal is situated in a quiet area at walking distance of the busy San Pedro de Atacama. The owners Pamela and Guillermo are very nice people who are willing to help you with everything. Maite, the girl who is working there, is very helpfull and prepares a good breakfast.

Featuring a new and convenient location only a 5-minute walk from the bus station and a 10-minute walk from the town centre, Hostal Campo Base offers accommodations in San Pedro de Atacama. The Hostel is at an excellent location just a few minutes of the dusty main road for tourists. The beds are very comfortable, the showers and toilets clean, the breakfast with pancakes, eggs. bread, fresh fruit etc made by Carol is delicious. There are clean towels every day. I met some lovely people during my stay and a special thanks goes out to Rodrigo, who organises all the tours and has the answer to all the questions regarding them. literally everything that can be done can be booked with him. i also booked my Uyuni tour with him. For that, Rodrigo booked me onto an excellent agency with a very skilled and lovely guide called Martin. The tour was very well organised, the food was plenty, delicious and healthy and the people I was put in a jeep with were lovely. The sights were just amazing, the nature truly stunning. I am writing this because this was all very important to me and I would have loved to be reassured by another positive review. Rodrigo himself was incredibly helpful and even looked after me and offered to help even after the tour had ended in Uyuni - he truly went above and beyond. He always available for even the simplest questions and incredibly flexible with changing dates and times (sorry, Rodrigo! 😅). He was 100% invested in me having a good time, never pushed a tour on me, even advised me not to do certain tours because there were sights I would see on the tour to Uyuni anyway - which I truly appreciated. Overall, I had an excellent time here.

Set in a rustic-style house only a 10-minute walk from San Pedro Church, Hostal Mamatierra offers rooms with free Wi-Fi in San Pedro de Atacama. Such a lovely social vibe! It’s the sort of hostel that you’re so comfortable in you actually don’t want to leave. Nayira is such a brilliant warm host, an absolute pro! Facilities are great, place is so clean, beds are comfy, breakfast is lovely and WiFi works throughout the hostel. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights, ended up staying for 4. Bed was made and room cleaned everyday we were there. Would absolutely recommend 10/10
