Set amid the Canadian Rockies in Banff National Park, this hostel boasts an on-site cafe and 2 self-catering guest kitchens. It includes private storage for guests and acts as a ski pass vendor. Large kitchen and communal area. Good location. You can drive to lake Louise quickly or only 5 min walk away from the shuttle bus which is only 2 dollars or we hiked it in just over an hour on a beautiful trail. We would 100% stay again if we returned.

Boasting Rocky Mountain views, HI-Banff Alpine Centre offers a café and a bar. Free WiFi and self catering kitchens are available for guests to use. Banff town centre is 4 minutes' drive away. Location, staff and basically everything was just awesome. Free bus ticket to get around Banff, so no hassle with parking.

Offering guest kitchen facilities, HI-Canmore / Alpine Club of Canada is located 4.5 km from Canmore city centre. Access to free bicycles is available. Free WiFi is included. I loved this hostel, I'd dare to say it was the best one I've ever stayed in. We were traveling with a group of 4, so we had a room for ourselves. The kitchen is fully equipped, and it's quite big. There's plenty of space to chill or work, either outside or inside. There are books, board games, billiards, some musical instruments, so you won't get bored. You can also wash (est. $2) clothes and dry (free) them if you need. The hostel is set in a wooden house, and it also adds a lot to its vibe :).

Located 90 km north of Lake Louise in a wilderness setting, this hostel features a common kitchen. Snowshoes are provided for guest use. Ice climbing opportunities surround this property. I had a wonderful time experiencing this wilderness hostel. The place and surroundings is beautiful and very well equipped.

Located at Highways 1A and 93, this Banff hostel offers BBQ facilities for guest use. --Linens are included in all dormitory rooms--. Cute and remote location, very cosy and good atmosphere, feels like home, chimney is nice and warm, you can tell people staying there feel like a family/ friend group. Very clean, all the equipment you need, comfy bed.

Located in Banff centre, this hostel provides free WiFi in all rooms. Mount Norquay Ski Resort is 15 minutes’ drive away. Breakfast was good, rooms were comfortable, staff were nice, service and wifi was good. zero complaints, really enjoyed my stay

Located on Banff National Park, this hostel is just 5 minutes’ walk from Banff’s shops and bars. Had a great night at this hostel, was really clean and I liked the en suite bathrooms. Definitely one of the better hostel breakfasts I’ve had - loads of options. Also the girls Daisy and Linzi on the desk were both really helpful in terms of what hikes and stuff to do in Banff

Located in Canmore and with The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies reachable within 26 km, PARTY HOSTEL - The Canmore Hotel Hostel provides concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a restaurant, free... It was quiet, comfortable and beautiful view out of the window. Decent kitchen and bathroom, each bed has a curtain if you need privacy.

Located 20 minutes’ drive from Lake Louise in an isolated setting, this hostel offers shared kitchen facilities and a wood heated sauna. Cross-country and backcountry skiing are available on site. The hostel is well-run by Lars, who gave us a warm welcome upon arrival. The 12-bed dorms are actually split into two parts with 6 beds each which provided a more private and quiet experience than expected. With no electricity, no phone reception, and only 1 hour wifi per day, the hostel forces you to disconnect and instead enjoy the nature, the sauna, and each others' company. With only around 20km to Lake Louise, it is the ideal base for exploring some of the highlights in Banff.
