Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, well-equipped kitchen, and the best location. My favourite part was the common area where I met a lot of amazing people!:) I would choose Castanea again

This hostel is housed in a refurbished 1800s prison building, on the central Stockholm island of Långholmen. Surrounded by greenery, it offers a restaurant, a shared kitchen and free Wi-Fi and parking.

Very comfortable and centrally located hostel. We stayed for New Years and were beyond happy with the value for money. Always fun to stay accomodation that commits to a theme and Långholmen does it very well.

Sweden
Very close to the train system. You go to the centrum of Stockholm in about one minute once you are on the train. Is close to many restaurants and food store, just go 15 step once outside your at a son and father sushi/Asian food restaurant. Is the cheapest place to stay at and for the price it's the best in Stockholm. It's only cheaper because you need to do a few extra step compared to a hotelroom but my stay there for 10 days was problem free. Gave a 200 kr tip to the staff because I made a mistake when booking and they help me big time. Great staff.

The staff was really nice and the location was marvelous, it is quite near to everything you need. The toilets and the bathroom were super clean (they smelled really good too!) and the rooms are huge.

Honestly, it felt like the hotel itself could be a tourist attraction! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is a two minute walk away from T-centralen so super handy!

The 4 people room is basic but clean, with two bunk beds and 4 lockers. The hostel is mostly quiet and in a safe zone (had no issue walking alone at night as a girl).
