Looking for a hostel?

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

Great price/value ratio for the location of this hostel in the center of Coimbra. I stayed in a 2-bed "dorm" room with a bunk bed, it was a bit humid but otherwise fine. Lots of space in the kitchen / living room next to the reception, and helpful staff.

Unfortunately it's not in a great location, photos mislead a bit, but if I owned the place I also wouldn't focus on the surroundings so I don't blame them. Extremely comfortable beds. I could suggest a way better interior designer, as the areas that have been newly decorated are cheap in taste which is a huge pitty, that kind of structure deserves so much more. Generous nice breakfast. Friendly staff. All in all, I enjoyed my stay.

Not the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in, not the worst. Rooms were neat and tidy, bathrooms could have been cleaner but nothing horrendous. Some staff were super friendly and helpful, others not so much. Guess it all depends on the day. Great location though!

Great location, comfy beds and kind staff. I was in a room for 10 people at the (sort of like) attic, but since it wasn't full, I slept in peace and undisturbed for straight 9 hours. One of the best hostels I've stayed at!

Perfect location but not noisy, nice staff, locker with key and place to charge just next to every bed. It's nice to have a single bed in the dorm instead of bunk beds. For me the best hostel in coimbra
