The rooms had tons of shelf room even for big bags, curtains and well constructed beds that didn't transfer motion between top and bottom bunks. The kitchen was amazing and complete. The common space had a PS4 to play around with to boot. All the bathrooms had pages from Where's Waldo books on the walls (Where's Wally in the UK.)

The best and cleanest bathroom in all the places that I stay in my trip to New Zealand. I like that each bunk on the bunk bed has their own lamp, socket, and curtain. The protection to avoid falling off the top bunk is also good. You would think everywhere would have that, but they don't.

Perfect! The beds were sooo cozy with the curtains! The location is perfect! It’s kinda nice to be a walk away from town because it makes it quite quiet!! Kitchen is big and clean!

Waking up to the sight of Lake Wakatipu shimmering in the sunlight was a true delight, and I often found myself lingering on the savoring the tranquility of the surroundings. In addition to its idyllic location, Lakeside Backpackers offers a range of amenities to enhance your stay. The communal areas are tastefully furnished, providing the perfect setting to unwind and socialize with fellow travelers. Wow! This property was fantastic. It had so many little amenities I didn’t even know about! A hot tub & breakfast all included in the price! What else could you want. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back here

Kapitalny widok z ogólnodostępnej kuchni na jezioro i góry. Bliskość centrum miasta i kolejki linowej- można dojść na nogach 10-15 min. Pokój z prywatną łazienką był duży i wygodny. Bardzo miła dziewczyna w recepcji.

Location was fantastic, very easy to get into town. Room was bigger than we expected given the price and check in very easy. Kitchen facilities were also excellent, had plenty for what we needed.
