Amazing view to the lake, I could enjoy nature just on the other side of the street. Kitchen was quiet and clean, also with a view. I wanter to stay in a quiet place and it was perfect for my expectations. Bedroom was confy and clean. Also I arrived late and they had organized everything so I could still check in without no one in the reception. Location amazing, very close to the busy streets.

However, the location is great and its a big hostel, so lots going on - great if you’re up for meeting new people or want a mix of activities. My dorm had its own bathroom which was handy and great that the toilet and shower room were separate.

And a couple minute walk from an real fruit ice cream truck, four square and laundry mat. The one thing for us was the no aircon we died in the 30 degree heat even with all the windows open. It also next to a hostel and they can be noisy in the deck outside to really late. The owner was really nice and was great to have free parking at the back.

I highly recommend Tahuna Pod Hostel for your stay here in Queenstown by far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in NZ 100%. A++++++ 🤩
