Set in the entrance of Ein Gedi's National Park, HI - Ein Gedi Hostel offers modern rooms and dormitories. It is located 1 km north of Ein Gedi Kibbutz. WiFi is free throughout.

The Ein Gedi Botanical Gardens are 3.6 km away, whilst the Ancient Synagogue is a 15-minute walk from the hostel. The Ein Gedi Spa is reachable by car in 6 minutes.

The large rooms have a very good hotel level, everything new and in a very good condition. The Ein Gedi National Park is just next door, no other accomodation is so near! The breakfast buffet was as its best, enormous range of freshly cooked food and fruit. Extremely recommendable for single travellers, families and groups. We had a wonderful room with a large terrace facing the Dead Sea. The staff was helpful, explained where you can still go for a bath (no fee). Highly appreciated: The open air fitness park (calisthenics), the playing ground and other sport facilities on the grounds of the hotel. Have you ever done a sport unit facing the Dead Sea? That is your chance to do it. Or just hang out in the safe and comfortable hotel ground.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

The Breakfast was very nice, We also took Buffet Lunch, it was very good. The Hostel is secure, nicely located and well maintained. Just note that its a Hostel and not a hotel, thus all the things are basic, nothing exceptional.

Great location for visiting Masada and getting the opportunity to see a kibbutz. The food was good and plentiful and fact that it included breakfast and dinner made it a great value.

The AC was awesome for a trip in June. The facilities were clean and the common areas were fun (hostel-like.) I felt like the tents were clean and my linens were newly washed. And just the whole atmosphere is adorable. We ate here and it was a small selection but yummy! (Side note: Ein Gedi park is amazing but know that the beach has been closed down due to sinkholes)

The youth hostel is very well located, right by En Gedi national park. It is easily accessible by bus because the bus stop is directly in front of it, which makes it possible to travel to Masada and the Dead Sea beach in Ein Bokek by bus. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is included and is more or less okay.
