Amazing ambiance, the jacuzzi, the activities, air conditioner in the rooms all day( Puerto Viejo was hot at december), all the free activities( pool party at an another close hotel, afro dance class, etc). The hair dressing space was a bonus. Staff were amazing and helpfull, specially Mara. Kitchen full equiped

Super chill and nice spot in Puerto Viejo, Yannis and the staff are extremely helpful with anything that you'll need. The facility is just what you need in a place like Puerto, the kitchen is huge and well furnitured. They also have there bike for rent, laundry service ans snorkeling equipment as well. All and all 10/10.

El clan is in the center of Puerto Viejo and yet it is quiet and serene. I love the convenience, friendly staffs, nice facilities especially the pool which we thought is a great deal, the AC which for me is a must when you are in a tropical country, the sorrounding trees where you can sometimes find a sloth up close and most importantly it is where I met new friends from accross the world. ♥️ Ive been looking for a comment before if they provide a towel so YES they do and you only need to deposit 5k colones which will be reimbursed when you return it back. Also, Puerto Viejo is located near a lush vegetation so mosquitoes are expected, I suggest you buy a repellant which is available in a nearby supermercado. Overall, I highly recommend it.
