Looking for a hostel?

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

The Metropole has a great location. Didn't need to use the car to walk around. The room was small but good for our needs. The library and old world charm is a rare thing these days. The breakfasts were great! Good presentation and yummy! Friendly staff, too! Thank you.

Great location, near to the train station and amidst shops, restaurants etc. Adrian who manages the hostel, was very helpful. The building itself has a lot of character, and there is plenty of room for socialising in the lounges, and dinng room. Great views too.

One of the best hostels I've been to in Australia! The house is cute, comfortable and in a great location close to the shops but also to many sights in the Blue Mountains. All the facilities are clean and the kitchen is well equipped with enough space to store your food. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great location, really helpful and friendly staff. Was a bit worried taking a baby to a backpackers, but everything was fantastic and exceeded my expectations. They provided a free cot, the kitchen and dining facilities were great and there was a high chair available, well heated rooms and common areas, close guest parking. Highly recommend, the family room with the private bathroom was excellent value too.
