HOSTEL : The setting of this hostel is absolutely beautiful!! 😍😍😍 LOCATION : The hostel location is smack bang in the middle of the old town. STAFF : The staff were so hospitable, not only friendly but genuinely NICE. I can't believe that they actually made the effort to remember everyone's names. INFORMATION : Not only the staff is knowledgeable abt the local sight seeing spots. They actually profit leaflets to guide us. BREAKFAST & SOCIAL ENVIROMENT : The setting of the breakfast is the my favourite part. Yes, there were yummy eggs, bread with spread, cheese plate & vegetables, fresh cutted fruits too - Cannot ask for more on a complimentary breakfast. What I like the most was they were being served on a long dinner table. All the guests would be enjoying the breakfast together. It's such nice arrangement for all travellers to get sociable and exchange information ❤️ it! Gjirokaster is a beautiful city, on my next return, would definitely stay in same place.

Great location! The hostel also organises free history tours, sight-seeings and other social events. A fun way to meet and interact with the others at the hostel.

The hosts, fellow backpackers themselves, are often present chatting with guests and swapping stories. The homemade baked goods at the communal breakfast table are a great touch. If they are running the hike to the valley across from Gjirokaster, book it. It was a wonderful experience.
