Situated within 8.2 km of Cishan Old Street and 14 km of Neimen Zihjhu Temple, Serenity Moutainview Homestay offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Meinong. Very clean and cosy B&B (or minsu 民宿, as they call it in Taiwan). I had a single room which is quite small but exactly suitable for one person. All of the amenities were brand new. For same price in Taipei one could expect a run down place with a sparkle of creepiness, but this B&B was exeptionally good. Location is also great, just 400 meters away from the Meinong Bus station and downtown area. Free bicycles provided for customers is also amazing, since Meinong is extremely walking unfriendly. getting around on a bicycle or scooter is a must.

風起文旅 The Wind Rises features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Qishan, 300 metres from Cishan Old Street. Very clean, spacious and friendly for families(considering two young boys). The coffee shop space was a nice bonus for us to sit around during the evening. They also offer a lot of free snacks and instant noodles. The staffs were super supportive and responsive. They called us for noticing the light still turned on in our parked car. They also help mail back my jacket which I accidentally left in the room.

Very very good place to stay for a few days. Rooms are really clean and comfortable. I really appreciate finding a new bottle of water and toothbrush/toothpaste every morning. The bed is really comfy and the bathroom really modern and clean. Bonus points for the coffee machine in the kitchen!! Additionally, staff was extremely helpful and available. I would definitely recommend this place! Best value for money.

OX Suites provides accommodation in Kaohsiung. The property is located 600 metres from The Pier-2 Art Centre and a 5-minute walk to MRT Station. It was perfect. Boasting quiet street views, Luna's House provides accommodation with balcony, around 500 metres from Rueifong Night Market. The location is near the night market and the Kaoshiung Arena Mall. The property is new and very clean. Our host, Steve gave us a map and recommendations on the best places to eat and go to. Property is also close to the Kaoshiung Arena subway station. The property also has unlimited coffee and snacks.

Set within 600 metres of Formosa Boulevard Station and less than 1 km of Kaohsiung Main Station, Yiting Hotel offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kaohsiung. Very spacious rooms, great location near night market . Parking nearby was expensive but convenient . Hotel is on one floor of a big apartment building, good for short business travel.
