The hotel owner, Luz, and her mom, Juanita, were so personable and warm. They really helped me and my friend order food, drive us, and also made me tea and soup when I was feeling sick! It felt like I was being taken care of like family and I am so grateful to have met them.

As a solo female traveler, Casa de Kai was perfection. A 7 minute walk to the beach, one minute to anything you might need or want while in Mazunte. The room was perfect, clean, bright, cozy, simple. Paula is an exceptional and attentive host and a remarkable human. She was the best part of my stay at Casa de Kai - in her, I made a life-long friend. Oh, and the cats Minu and Max hanging with me in the garden, were a sweet addition.

Situated less than 1 km from Principal Beach, Casa Sixta offers a garden, and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. Very nice place with very welcoming host. Possibility to have airco or overhead fan together was really nice. Cozy corner to have with several friends too.

Villa Bonobo features an outdoor swimming pool, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Puerto Escondido. There is a communal oven and coffee machine. We spent 6 nights at the villa and everything was perfect - the villa is very chill and tranquil, stuff is super helpful, you have everything you may need both in the room and in the kitchen, pool is small but very clean. We totally recommend!

Conveniently located in the Oaxaca Historic Centre district of Oaxaca City, Casa los Arcos Oaxaca is set 45 km from Mitla, 600 metres from Santo Domingo Temple and 1.3 km from Oaxaca Cathedral. The owner was very accommodating with the check in and check out time. Very helpful and Very nice family. The location is near for the center but quiet, great location. Water refill and good internet. Comfortable room and bed. Nice to sit down on the outside terrace.

Hostal Central Oaxaca features accommodation within 1.1 km of the centre of Oaxaca City, with free WiFi, and a kitchen with a microwave, a fridge and kitchenware. The hostal activities were very comprehensive and fun, capturing the core of Oaxaca. I was greeted by the friendliest staff and joined the mezcal tasting, followed by a memelas cooking class the next day. I was pointed to check out a local market and bought amazing souveniers with fair prices. I must highlight the breakfast IS THE BEST. No need to go to cafes, I had the best breakfast and warm, free coffee every morning to kickstart the day. The Wifi is stable and rooms are very clean. The staff cleans the property spotless and it is quiet at night.

Boasting a patio with garden views, an outdoor swimming pool and an open-air bath, La Playita Beach House can be found in Puerto Escondido, close to Zicatela Beach and 1.4 km from Marinero Beach. I enjoyed my stay in La Playita, everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was also great, close to the main restaurants and bars area but far enough to be quiet.

Offering city views, Posada Nautica is an accommodation situated in Mazunte, 300 metres from Mazunte Beach and 600 metres from Agustinillo Beach. Amazing location just off the main road. Beautiful views. There's plenty of cooking equipment. The room is spacious enough for two people. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Room is clean and tidy and well maintained.

Set in the middle of a tropical palm tree garden and only 50 metres of Zipolite Beach, Castillo Oasis has free Wi-Fi connection throughout and massage services. Playa del Amor beach is 200 metres... Value for money and very helpful owner.
