Honestly everything was great. Maria is so sweet and she runs the place herself. She makes breakfast every morning and makes getting around for the day easy, just ask and she'll call up a motocoach or car. It's on the upper floor of her house (separate entrance up the stairs) and there's three rooms that are a great size with modern bathrooms, fans and A/C. The shared area is spacious and gorgeous, with a full kitchen, dining table and a nook with comfy chairs by the windows. It's in a residential area with a colmado on the corner if you need a quick snack or drink. All in all I think this was my favorite place I stayed at while in DR, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in La Romana :). (Pics were taken after checkout but the linen and sheets were great as well!)

We loved loved loved Bobby and Ruth. They were so helpful from the moment we booked and throughout the stay. They set us up with the best driver, Desmond, who picked us up from the airport and was a super reliable and safe (local) driver up the mountain. They also set us up with a hike through the local area and to a waterfall the next morning with Velmore and George who were from the mountain town and showed us all about the local herbs, fruits and history. We had the best day! The food at the Guesthouse was incredible and included lots of veggie options too. The chef was the nicest guy! The vibe of the guesthouse was so chill and one with nature.

The vibes are always chill and inspiring. The highlight of the experience is certainly listening to live music on the wrap around porch and chatting with people in the evenings. So clean as well!
