Smile Hub Kandy terletak di Kandy, 3.9km dari Sri Dalada Maligawa dan 3.9km dari Muzium Kandy. We had three refreshing days here, with cooler weather, in a nicely arranged hostel. Our room B had large windows with a view of the mountain, good storage wardrobe, and desk and chair. Bed was comfortable and we didn’t hear noise from other rooms. Common kitchen had fridge, stove, electric kettle, microwave and toaster as well as basic cookware and tableware. Dining table and couch for relaxing. Delighted to have a washing machine and ample clothes lines for drying. Easy to go to city center or botanic garden by flagging a bus passing by on the main road. Yama was a kind and helpful host. You can take the elevator to/from the ground floor by going through the dental clinic.

It was more than we imagined - it is a newly built/renovated guesthouse on a beautiful property, within a beautiful garden. The family welcomed us in person, invited us for a juice on their terrace and then showed us our beautiful, big room with a super comfortable bathroom incl. a big shower and towels. We felt extremely comfortable after arriving in Kandy quite tired after a long train ride. After we had time to freshen up a bit, they gave us some recommendations for restaurants (unfortunately we only stayed one night) and how to get there best. On the next day they provided breakfast in their private living room - we enjoyed it a lot to see their house and learn more about our hosts. Thank you so much!

They make exceptional food, and a great variety of options for dinner. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.
